Slow Chair

The Slow Chair developed by Vitra together with designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec in 2006 has since established itself as a Vitra classic. 

Vitra has now created another variant of the iconic armchair and also added the Slow Sofa. With their distinctive aesthetic, the sofa and armchair integrate seamlessly into modern interiors while bringing a contemporary touch to classic settings – be it at home, in the hotel lobby or in the office.

The design uses the principle of a textile sling cover fitted precisely over a tubular steel frame. This creates a sink-in effect with just the right amount of tension to ensure appealing comfort, especially when supplemented with loose cushions.
